The university appreciates receiving information regarding the specific purposes of your clients’ legacy gifts. We want to ensure that their gifts can be used as they intend. Even if your client wishes to keep their legacy gift anonymous, we encourage you to let us know the terms of the gift so we can ensure that the gift can be used as your clients intend. The legacy giving team provides assistance regarding inquiries about endowment gifts, deferred gifts, and other legacy gift options. The legacy giving team offers a range of resources and services to help donors and their advisors customize legacy gifts—whether through a will, trust, insurance policy, retirement fund, securities, or real property. Our services and resources include: gift calculation, gift agreements, and legacy giving and charitable giving resource information.

Some donors may wish to make a gift without designating a specific campus area, however, most donors prefer to restrict the use of their gift to a campus area for which they have a particular affinity. Gifts may be for general use, scholarships, research, new or existing endowed funds, faculty support, etc. For additional designations that are not listed below, contact a member of the legacy giving team.
